Lot of work in QSLing is occupying Denney George, VU2DGR/AT44I after the return to his homeland after a long stay in Antarctica.
Denney did operate as AT44I as part of the 44th ISEA from Bharati Station (WAP IND-Ø4), the Indian Base at Prydz Bay, Larsemann Hills (69°24’26,80″ South, 76°11’14,70″ East), where he was in charge of Radio communications.
On his spare time, Denney has dedicated many hours and days to Radio Amateurs from all over the world who wanted to log AT44I; He always tried to give everyone this great opportunity.
The set of QSL cards received ,confirms the enthusiasm with which, VU2DGR-AT44I fulfilled the commitment made to the Antarctic Hunters WW.
Thank you, Denney, mission accomplished, and we might add… in the best possible way!

After the incredible performance of Bhagwati VU3BPZ; the Antarctic Hunters always remember him and his various callsign used in Antarctica with great affection (VU3BPZ/p, AT1ØBP, VU3BPZ/MM, VU3BPZ/R1 & 8T2BH in 2010-2011-2012-2015 & 2016), this last operation by Denney from Antarctica is certainly a new pearl to be proud of.
Special Thanks to:
ISEA (Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica)and India’s premier research institute dedicated to the study of the polar regions and the southern oceans., the National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR), recently renamed NCPOR (National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research) which, in addition to Scientific activities, always pays particular attention to WW Radio Amateur activities.
